today is me and kaigai's last day of work at Acekidz. we worked for 10 hours today from 9 to 7. went to watch happy feet with the K1, K2 and before and after school kids at plaza singapura. it's a nice movie but i think it's too difficult for the kids to understand. but i will say that it's a pretty good experience bringing so many kids out and they are really obedient. i love penguins too! (: i was known as a penguin in primary school all thanks to imran. haha.
the last day was a really how should i phrase it, sad? emotional? mixed feelings? i really had a great time there with the kids. cos they are so young and innocent and they don't lie. maybe that's the reason i love kids so much, cos they don't lie. i hate people who lies to me but i must say i lie many times too. the 2 weeks there was well spent and it was indeed a rare experience anyone can seek for. being a child care teacher is not easy at all. the kids well being, diet, hygiene have to be carefully taken care of to prevent complaints from parents. through my stay there, i've bathed the kids, feed them to eat, pat them to sleep, play catch with them, sing with them, break up fights among them and sponge a little girl who has a high fever. it's great to be able to return to the younger days and go through mu childhood once again. if i can choose, i would rather be a kid. kids have no worries, they are easily forgiven for their wrong doings and they just live life happily. maybe i'm being too pessimistic but i hope i can grow up slower. the best part of this year is to have the chance being with the kids. i know not many people loves kids. but they are really like angels to me. no matter how noisy they are, how irritating they can get, how many times they get on your nerves, at the end of the day, they are still little cute kids.
will miss ms rose, han lao shi and many other teachers and the aunty who cleans the place! the aunty is very nice! she always give me and kaigai food to eat and she gave us a hug just now! love her love her! of course, there are some kids who i favouritise and those are the ones i will greatly miss. aaron and rui qi each gave me a kiss today! muacks =) and some of the rest give me a hug. and no more sweet words from the kids. )= no more i like you or i love you. arrg.
goodbye is the hardest word to say. i'm truly loved and happy throughout my stay there(it's hard to describe that kind of feeling) the memories will stay in my heart forever. Acekidz (=
it's time to return to the real world and face life. i don't want to! maybe staying ignorant will do the job. how time flies. my november holiday flies away with busy days. 1 month maybe about 5 free days? how sad.
