if you happen to walk in tampines central/interchange and a secondary school girl wearing her school uniform asks you for 10 cent to make a call, please dont give her. i'm not trying to be a busybody or what but i seriously feel such behaviour should not be accepted. i dont know, she's not in school at 10 plus in the morning(i was supposed to be in school, but we girls walked out) and she looks fake when she asked cherie for 10 cent. after that at 2 plus, we saw her again and observed her from far. that was on thursday.
tampines seem to have quite a number of fakers always pleading for money. i was asked for many times before. and there's this auntie who would kneel in the middle of road near tampines just to seek pity. she pulled my shirt once before and wont let go. but i still didnt give her any. no way! and my mummy saw her buying lottery some time! can you imagine it? getting people's hard earned money to bet away? i doubt she will strike lottery anyway cos God is fair. she's been around begging for money ever since i'm in secondary two till now....woah. that's long.
and there's another trend of teenagers who cut themselves for whatsoever reasons they have. i thought this is a very stupid act. but i guess there must be a sense of emptiness somewhere in their heart and soul to make them do this. i mean, i seriously cannot imagine myself slashing my hands. to get out of sadness, to forget certain things or to seek identity is not to hurt yourself. NEVER would i do that. cos one moment of folly mean lead to a lifetime of regret. and that's really a lifetime. you have to live with it and ponder over when you grow older, regretting for the foolish act you commit. or worse, not even realising what you do is wrong till your death bed. eh, that's sad right? and not only do you hurt yourself, you hurt your loved ones too. whatever you do, they dont deserve to go through the shit just cos you do something dumb.
