am back from penang (:
how time flies.
life in penang was about 2 things-eat and sleep.
i dont know how to describe my stay there. but the experience is pretty okay.
penang scenery is nice. i love those sea view, trees, sky, etc etc.
food, there is like A LOT to eat. the forum is okay, i'm just surprised that people like to distinguish people from malaysia and singapore in their speeches. oh well, some things just cant be compared, esp if you are brought up in different places, the culture, habits, attitude and way of life are meant to be different.
for me, i like malaysia's way of life. though i'm not brought up in malaysia, i can only remember my childhood days in malaysia. those short holidays i spent there when i was young. but now, having grown older and more accustomed to spore's way of living, i've not much wish of going back there for long. a few days is okay but too long, i'll get bored. if i could choose, i would rather grow up there and not be in singapore. at least, life will be easier =) but being in singapore has exposed me to many things and allow me to meet many nice people =) so what if i cant speak malay? it does not mean i'm not fit to be a malaysian right =P am proud to be a spore PR =)
am going to miss the slacking and crapping days in malaysia. everyone has been very nice to me cos of my leg. of course, i'm more than grateful =) yup.
cabbed back to tampines with chuanli today since we are the only ones living in tampines.
when i reached home, my brother asked me for money. he told me his friend's sister jumped/dropped(not sure) from a building on his friend's birthday. i'm stunned and was pretty much affected when i hear this. arrg. i may not know the person, but i feel greatly for her. it's just not fair to have life taken away from you at such a young age when hopes and dreams remain high. it's not deserving for such people.
life is so unpredictable.
i've learnt a very important lesson today.
that is to treasure. to love.
before it's too late.
