i realised my entry yesterday was pretty random. it's more like thoughts coming out of everywhere and i'm just typing them out.
let me elaborate more about my last paragraph yesterday.
i used to read articles about the poor/disadvantaged/physically disabled people. you get sad after reading those articles but what i get out of reading them makes me a more contended person. they may be worse of than us in many ways, but many of those people still hold hopes of a better tomorrow and they believe that they are not that bad after all as there're people who are worse off than them. such optimistic and unselfish thinking is truly remarkable. i think they know better than ordinary individuals like us how to appreciate life and people around them. it may be a generalisation but i believe people learn the most through the hardships they face and the experiences they get. many things are easy to say but to really do it, that's the hard part. how many of us really know how to treasure? know how to love?
i just read my younger's brother compre on Genuine Love. it was an interesting read. to sum it up, there are 3 criterions of such love. one is non-possessiveness, two is non-coercion(cannot be forced) and third is unconditional love. and i find this statement meaning: love does not diminish by loving; instead it increases.
quite interesting topic that secondary 2 students cover in their English. i dont remember myself learning about whether 'should teenagers date?' in secondary school. oh well, times have certainly changed.
this time round, i did pretty well for my JCT but i'm not that thrilled over it. sure, i do feel the instance of happiness but after that, i ask myslf "so what?". if you know me well enough, you will know what i view examinations and results as. it's really different from the past.
