completed my goal of exercising thrice a week by jogging for 30 minutes, 9 laps and climbing 7 flight of stairs. it's been donkey years since i'm so disclipined to exercise for thrice weekly. it makes me feel great =)but i think i wont be able to keep to that for long.
okay, some of you may be wondering what my previous entry is with regards to the university course i wish to pursue. well, i had wanted to study physiotherapy only after i have fractured my leg this year and with the back aches i experienced, etc. it's only this year that i realised how it feels like to walk in pain and great caution, how someone who's handicapped and lost the movements of their limbs(be it temporary or not) go through life everyday, how it feels like being woken up at night and not being able to sleep due to back aches, muscle cramps, leg stiffness, etc, how it feels like to feel sensations of pain in my ankle/ back/ knee due to an old injury in a normal day and most importantly, how it feels like being helped and cared so greatly by others.
my physiotherapist was the one who make it possible for me to be able to walk down the stairs in smooth movements, she was the one who encoraged me and yup, i will be always grateful to her. cos she guided me through the whole therapy treatment unlike other therapists who just instruct their own patients to undergo therapy on their own and do other stuff.
and soohui sent me her attachment at KK hospital bout small kids and it really gets to me. i went with her there once and the sight of small kids being wrapped up in bandages really gets down hard on me. it just make me sad. they are so small, what do they know? what do they deserve to get the injuries or being borned slow/retard in their movements?
i think i end here before the entry becomes too emotional. heh.
