2007 has come to an end and 2008 is here.
a whole new year, a whole new beginning and a fresh start.
i cant help but exclaim(once again) how time has passed by so quickly. it seemed like yester day years when i started out in JC 2.
academic life for JC has not been easy, i have witnessed how my friends and myself being stressed out at times and at a lost in this competitive study arena. i have seen people cried, fall and feeling hopeless of not meeting the expectations. in short, i have seen the cruelty of what examinations can bring to oneself. studying in JC is not easy at all, concepts have to be grasped on well is the first and foremost most important criteria. and not forgetting some pure intelligence with hard work.
2007 has been an eventful year. it's also the year when i learnt many things not just study wise but from people around me. and it's also the time when i get real close to my clique of friends-cherie, wenxin, shifang, soohui, sihui, daphne, alia, bingxiong, andy, denis, lihong, bernard, justin, samuel and shaun. and not forgetting the rest in 16/06. before i entered JC, my friend told me that JC life would be a blast, i didnt believe him at first until i went through it myself. it sure is a good 2 years well spent in TJC=)
not forgetting the teachers i have in TJ. teachers like mrs than and mr foo are the best teachers i ever had. they seemed to be able to make concepts seem simpler that they are. and also the great teachers who showed concern for me when i was on cast.
which brings me to my next point about the incident when i fractured my leg. till date, i have yet to fathom how the whole incident happened one thing i'm clear of is the help and concern i received during the period. from feeling down and upset and being like a burden to others, i have grown more accepting out of it. but the person i have to thank the most would be my father. morning and evening, without fail, he would fetch me to and from school. and the people who helped me, dont have to mention again, you all should know how great you all are!!=)
woanyun has good memory for remembering such things and birthdays=) i wont forget once i remember=)
i hope in 2008 things will get much better for my family and people around me. my greatest wish is that there wont be any health issues bugging me and my loved ones. dont procrastinate when health matters!
my new year eve has been a great one=) i love my workplace and the people there are FUN=)my buffet lunch went well-the food was great=) plus there are kids around to light up the place yesterday so everyone wasnt in working mode=P and there was movie screening to quet the kids down. i guess i'm lucky to have such a fantastic department to work with=) and they taught me many useful things. so, i'm very happy there=)
and the dinner before countdown at breeks was not too bad but the turn out rate was much lower than what i expected. hmmm. and bus 34 service is great. i love buses =)
hope 2008, the group of us can still keep in touch more often!! and i hope to meet up with butties and the rest in r2 more. i know i have neglected you guys much in 2007.
